The Department of Business Management at BUY is a student centered learning community dedicated to share values, Knowledge and skills that enable students to compete responsibly and successfully in the global business environment. This program emphasizes written and verbal communication, development of student’s understanding of business theory and practice ,as well as, connections between business and other fields, and importance of serving society with vision and integrity.

Students will communicate clearly in written English, demonstrating their comprehension, analysis, and critical questioning of business concepts and issues.

BUY business program is designed to be taught in an equipped classrooms through experiential projects and dedicates faculty members, who bring modern business challenges to life. Our students learn business skills today that they can apply tomorrow.

Mission

To provide students with the vital concepts of business and management sciences, and acknowledge the final accounts, discounting concepts, banking processes, finance, returns on investments, capital budgeting and estimation.

Objectives

  1. It also introduced with the purpose to expose student to the various theory that students have a fair understanding of business and management principles.

  3. It introduces the basic principles, as well as the nature of financial accounting and the procedures involved in recording transactions. Students will be coached on accounting cycles, adjustments and preparation of financial statements, preparation of bank reconciliations and ratio analysis.
