Department of accounting prepares the students with the knowledge and technical skills needed to pursue and excel in accounting career. Its goal is to create, debate, and disseminate knowledge about the measurement and communication of financial and non-financial information; informing the students, alumni,  managers and capital market participants and facilitating rational financial, economic and policy decisions..

To be a dominant to offer a challenging, practical, and relevant curriculum in Accounting science that develop the skills required by today’s employer. 

Mission

To prepare students to be a successful follows with technical skills of accounting including business, management, and finance that compete in domestic and global market 

Objectives

This Accounting program encompasses three main themes:

  1. To expose the students with the understanding of principles and concepts of accounting as well as financial accounting and their application to organizations and business environment; 
  2. To provide students the opportunities to develop intellectual, communication and interpersonal skills demanded of them both in their academic life and as part of their professional careers; 
  3. To enable students with the technical skills of accounting including the analysis, processing, recording, preparation, and interpretation of accounting information and to familiarize themselves with computerized accounting software packages.
